Jill is American. I go to Baldwin-Wallace for music theatre and Jill went here as well. I am pretty sure she is from Ohio, in fact. Equity in England had to agree to give her a contract in exchange for American equity giving an English actor a contract. THey did the same thing for Woman in White. It is a huge deal, it doesn't happen often.
