re: 'I Love Fosca' - from Passion Sheet Music.. Dec 22 2017, 07:31:13 AM
I always thought it was cut because Jere Shea couldn't sing it. I think it works beautifully, and is passionate, and I like that it comes out of his Georgio trying to convince the Doctor to let him see Fosca again.

Chris & Adelmo: The Second Coming (York Theatre) Dec 20 2006, 03:35:50 PM
Chris & Adelmo: The Second Coming is a classic slapstick comedy that blends music & sports with humor & sarcasm; bringing back the show business duo, in a hilarious, accessible format. Chris & Adelmo takes you on a musical rollercoaster ride encompassing everything from a Night at Lincoln Center to a day with Bugs Bunny on the Warner Brothers lot. Pop, Broadway, and (a little) Opera come together, mending a series of scenes taken from the great American Songbook, creating what is, truly a vaudeville act. The vocal ability and variety in the show will astound even the most jaded theatergoer or sports fan as they musically jest their way from the cafés of Paris to the hills of Arkansas. Chris & Adelmois full of optimism, resourcefulness, and a healthy disregard for the status quo. Vocal Director, Dr. William Riley (who coaches the likes of Celine Dion and Shakira) had an inkling that the voices of 'Wagnerian Operatic Tenor,' Chris Cain, and 'Baritone of the Decade,' Adelmo Guidarelli, would fit perfectly together. As it turns out-- so would their personalities. Mike Wills (Penn & Teller, and Blue Man Group) took from their character and their interactions to develop and direct what is now: Chris & Adelmo -- The Bad Boys of Opera. In keeping with how it all began, William Riley serves as Vocal Director in the production, along side Musical Director Bruce Stasyna (Former head of the Minnesota Opera). Features the original works: "Abbott & Costello Meet Gilbert & Sullivan" ("Who's on First" as a G&S mini-operetta) and "A Christmas Toast" Access Lynn DiMenna's ("At The Ritz" radio show) intro to 'Chris & Adelmo's" recording of "A Christmas Toast" at: http://hometown.aol.com/historyremembers/AChristmasToastAtTheRitz.mp3 Show Schedule: --Chris & Adelmo runs Tuesdays at 8:00 PM thru December, and Tuesday - Saturday at 8:00 PM January 2-6.
