Definitely 2005. Out-of-town tryouts, preliminaries and workshops commence this year. Jim is also working on Bat Out of Hell 3 with Meat Loaf, and albums with Mandy Gonzalez and Frenchie Davis. Also: two films about Bat Out of Hell and Pandora's Box. After Batman is "Valhalla" and "Ladyhawke" (with Frank Wildhorn)

I'm a good friend of Mr Steinman. Ignore all the rumours about Burton abandoning the project. He hasn't. Jim has completed some of his finest songs, all original too, and I really think Broadway will like this one. It's unusual, but epic. Jim hasn't composed in this style since before he met Meat Loaf. He used to write songs like these over at the Manhattan Theater Club, but now it's all coming back. Just stick around and give it a chance. Thank you

And you wonder why shows fail on Broadway? With people like you they don't stand a chance! Sorry - but I know this Batman, and it's bloody not what you think!!
