On the Wicked OBCR... the lyric "all helpful urges should be circumvented" from No Good Deed... up until recently I always sang it as "all help-flurges should be circumvented" because I had no idea what it was until my friend heard me sing it like that and proceeded to correct me after a good laugh.

Unfortunately I don't live in New York, but I'd go see some if I could.
However... what I'm really excited about is that is the first Tony Awards that I've actually seen the perfomances because I made my first trip to Broadway a couple weeks ago. So it's a whole new ball game this year.

I thought that video was so cute. I can't wait for that recording, I loved the music when I saw it. And the 'air violin' in the clip cracks me up every time.

Yeah, it was soooo nice. It threw me off a bit at first because my first show was Grey Gardens at the Walter Kerr, and I was like... "No lobby? You go straight into the theater?" It was disorienting just because I wasn't used to it, but now I just love those theaters. I saw a performance at the Orange County Performing Arts Center 2 days after I got back and I was like.... ugh....

I actually just made my first trip to Broadway a couple of weeks ago, and I loved the smaller theaters! The theater I go to the most is the massive 3,000 seat Orange County Performing Arts Center... or the Pantages up in LA, so seeing shows in the more intimate theaters like the Helen Hayes and the Walter Kerr was a welcome change.
