Post-Tonys Week Show Seeing Schedule
Post-Tonys Week Show Seeing Schedule#1

What shows do you guys have scheduled or are you planning to see this upcoming week immediately following the Tonys? The past few years I've enjoyed catching the first performance of the big winners following the night of the ceremony. It's a very exciting atmosphere.
I'm seeing SPRING AWAKENING Monday night and GREY GARDENS on Tuesday night. The rest of the week is up in the air. I guess it will depend upon whether any closing notices go up.

Unfortunately I don't live in New York, but I'd go see some if I could.
However... what I'm really excited about is that is the first Tony Awards that I've actually seen the perfomances because I made my first trip to Broadway a couple weeks ago. So it's a whole new ball game this year.

Nothing for me this next week. Payday's not until Friday, and the Metropolitan Opera decided to charge the new subscriptions a full month earlier than they'd said they would.
(I mean I'm excited I got my subscription...I just hadn't budgeted for it this month.)

I'd love it, but school's still in session. I'm skipping tomorrow to recover from the walk. (Which was awesome!!)
Thanks though!

The Out of the Darkness Overnight. It's a 20 mile walk put on by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. They fund research on depression and other mood disorders as well as support and education for survivors AND education materials to help educators and health professionals be aware of the signs and symptoms.
It was amazing! Even if they did have the slight non-thinking part of having the route go through Times Square so we'd hit it when every theatre was letting out. They had to push everything from "midnight lunch" on back by at least a half hour because of the time lost there.
I'm tired and sore, but SOOOO glad I did it.
