I saw the show 2 times this January and I thought it was simply fabulous. Scaled down, of course, but I thought there were benefits to that. Rather than waiting for the big exciting helicopter to fly, I found myself feeling more involved with the characters and their stories. I think the movie could definitely have a lot of potential... but PLEASE... no Justin Timberlake. I don't see him fitting any of the roles at all... and it could be a huge mistake. Raul would be awesome though... but I think they're gonna be looking for Catherine Zeta Jones/Renee Zellweger type people to follow Chicago's success, which seems to cheapen the messages behind rent. who knows.

I was wondering what the average number of people that enter the Rent rush lottery is on a given Saturday, if anyone has any clue. Also, I saw some reviews of Mel B from the first few nights, which were less than stellar, but has anyone seen her since? And does she normally perform at matinees, or does she stick to night performances only? Thank you very much!
