Wicked ?'s Chicago and LA

Hello! I was wondering if the LA production and Chicago production of Wicked is more simillar to Broadway or is it more similar to the tour. Meaning, does the stage extend out, monkeys fly through audience, elphaba comes up through trap for No Good Deed. I'd love to get some info on it...I love to discuss differences in companies! let's hear it! Thanks!
