Thank you again, really appreciate the support.

Hello...

Each year, the community here has helped us tremendously in suggesting a show for a group of senior travelers to experience.  I own a company in Wisconsin, and we have a group visiting in October.  I'm asking for your help again.

We were set (or so we thought!) with Beautiful and Bandstand.  We're still set with Beautiful, but found out this week that Bandstand is ending it's run in September.

So, we need to somewhat quickly find a repl

Thanks, all, for the responses.  I've printed out and will review with my operations coordinator, and make a decision.  Sounds like there's pluses/minuses to each, but in any case, sounds like the show will be a tremendous experience for the group.

Appreciate the input--have posted here before for advice, and always value the feedback given.  Thank you.

Could someone tell me if seating in Orchestra 500 seats at the Vivian Beamont is too far to the side?

I own a tour company, and we have a group of seniors booked their for King & I in October.  Had requested Loge, but they "upgraded" us to Orchestra 500 (far right side) seats (rows E-J).

Thank you in advance.

To everyone--thank you for the tremendous input and swift response.  Will sort through all of these with our Operations Manager, and decide on our two 2015 shows.

I have always been impressed with this discussion board community, and your willingness to help.

THANK YOU!

This site has been very helpful in the past, and hoping you can help again.

I own a small travel company in Wisconsin.  We will be bringing a group (20-30 people) of senior travelers to NYC in October.  Included in the program will be two Broadway shows.  Would like the shows to be fairly clean given our clientele.  Last year, they really liked Beautiful: The Carole King Musical--which was recommended by this site.  Previous year, Newsies (again recommended

Thanks again, everyone. Snafu, in regard to the seniors, the group originated as a church group. Some additions, but still...just would rather play it on the safe side than deal with some being offended.

Lots of good feedback.

Our average age is 65, but some as old as 80. From Milwaukee area, most have not been regulars on the theater circuit--might have been to New York once for a show, and also have taken in some of the traveling shows (ala Lion King, Phantom, Mama Mia, Jersey Boys) in Milwaukee.

By the way--for those of you from New York--I absolutely love New York City!

All: I really appreciate your suggestions and ideas (although, not the hint that Once may shutdown--I wasn't asking for that unsolicited information ?format=auto&width=600 )

I am reviewing each idea, and we will decide soon. Again, thank you for taking the time to respond.

Hello. I own a travel company in Wisconsin. We are bringing a group of seniors to NYC for a tour at the end October. The group is (was) seeing two shows: Once and Newsies.

I am looking for a suggested replacement for Newsies. As it's seniors, I want to find a show with little profanity, and a fairly clean story line--as we had found with Newsies. Prefer, although not mandatory, to not visit a long running show such as Lion King or Mama Mia since some may have already seen.
