So we're just stuck with the crappy singing contest whether we like it or not? Sad. Difference between AIDA and TARZAN is that AIDA actually had an out-of-town preview whereas TARZAN opened cold on Broadway. Hopefully this try-out will help THE LITTLE MERMAID become a somewhat decent piece when it gets to Broadway, I really find it sad to see mediocre shows succeed based on title recognition, TV show contestants, etc.
