Yes cell signals can mess with the mics but most the time it doesn't effect the ones being used on stage but instead messes with the clear coms used by the crew. In college we always had to make sure our cell phones were off in the booth because if we got a call or text it would make a horrible buzzing noise over the clear com.

Okay first off if any show was closing that soon there would have been a press release already. Also you can still buy tickets for shows past that date so I don't think any of these shows are closing on Sunday.

Break a leg is thought to come from something with breaking the curtains. In one idea comes from the fact that on tradition curtains the legs would be made of long wooden rods. If the curtain was open and closed too many times for standing ovations or encores the legs would break. Others think it comes from actors running off stage and back on and in the commotion breaking the leg (side curtains in this meaning).

In no way is this truley ground breaking. If they Spring people did their research they would have realized programs such as Hiptix and Student NO rush already offer services along the same line. None of them use texting codes and stuff to do it but they still let you get student tickets with out having to wait. I actually prefer Hiptix and Student No rush to this "digitial rush" because those two guarentee your tickets and you can by them in advance not just day of. Also the Public is already d
