I hope they don't put someone in a fat suit. That would make me sad. I myself am a big girl and there are so few roles for us to play. It makes me sad when I see skinny girls playing them.

M Corwin 2, my friend heard it from people who do make-up on Mad Tv. I asked her to go back and make sure because I'd be SO happy if it were true. I love Paul. When I hear anything, I'll post it here.

The gay comment is silly. (I think you were just teasing.) But I've seen him play coaches and dads and "straight" guys on Mad TV before, so I think he can definately do it. I think of Shrek as a misunderstood hero with a lot of heart... and that's not far from his Edna!! I also think my friend might be crazy. Obviously it's not cast yet. I can't find anything anywhere about it. But I DO think he would be a wonderful choice, too.

Paul Vogt as Shrek?!
OMG - someone I know from LA just heard that Paul Vogt is going to be Shrek in the new musical on Broadway! (I saw him in Hairspray and he is perfect!) Does anyone know anything about this?! Or is my friend out of her mind?
