re: Broadway breaking boundaries whilst we stagnate
I saw this play last week. The cast was excellent though we could not hear the actress well who played Maggie. Frankly, the play is dated. Several others in the audience expressed disappointment in the play during intermission. They came for the lead actors not knowing what to expect. I knew the story and appreciated the actors, but overall felt something was missing. Perhaps the problem was not being able to hear most of what one of the leads was saying.
