re: CAFE LYSISTRATA a new musical

LOL -- "Law and Order: Greek Tragedy Unit"

Never saw your musical. And, oddly enough, there are no coffee tunes (didn't think of it). I'm certain there are tons of other differences.

That said, I think this still probably falls under "great minds think alike"

Thanks! Too bad you missed my "straight" play "The Secret Warhol Rituals" back in the 1990s. (Or did you see it?)

I can't imagine trying to be anonymous. It defeats the entire purpose of being me

CAFE LYSISTRATA a new musical
 Sep 10 2009, 10:12:35 PM
Hi All, Long time since I posted here. If anyone is interested, I was one of 1500 artists invited over the last 4 months to participate in a new web site that allows "micro patrons" to help artists achieve their dreams. There was an article about the site a few days ago in the NY Times.

Anyway, if you'd like to check it out, my new musical is titled "Cafe Lysistrata". It's bawdy, political, and zany, if I do say so myself. It's free to check out the page, and there's a 3 minute video (1 minute of me and 2 minutes of Meg Cavanaugh, one of the young stars from the show, singing one of the tunes titled "Thick Stack of Hundred Dollar Bills") .

See you at the theater!

He co-starred in a movie I once wrote. It was so bad I'm ashamed to mention the title. But he was excellent, and a warm funny man on the set. It wasn't the script (as written) or the acting. That leaves . . .?
God Loves Tiny Tim

If anyone is looking for a unique, very unusual piece of entertainment, look no further than “God Loves Tiny” Tim” at the Richmond Shepard Theater on East 26th Street and 2nd Avenue. It only runs on Sunday nights at 8, and it’s only $20. It’s a one man musical.

I’ve seen it three times now, and it really is a weird but captivating 80 or 90 minutes. It’s gotten some good reviews and notices, most notably in The New Yorker and on Martin Denton’s www.nytheatre.com

I talk like a bot? You mean here on the board? I hope not in the vid. I put on my most charming self for this one. No condoms, even.

Aloha,
"Sex! Drugs! & Ukuleles!" --the musical comedy that is re-opening Off

It's a Pono tenor with a spruce top, and pick up.

All you have to do is watch a music video on YouTube and leave a
