I was talking, more like obbsessing, about the rent movie with a few of my fellow rent fans when a couple of people overheard us and started talking about it and "how they love that one song and didn't know that that guy from law & Order could sing like that"...they all said they wanted to see it. I know a ton of people with the same view, but hey, at least they are interested. I think that people will be drawn to the film by "seasons of love". Whenever i talk to anybody who is not familiar with

Last halloween, my friend and i did the whole galinda and elphaba thing! it was really fun. This year, in honor of the rent movie we are going as mimi and maureen.

would have been interesting to see grommotik (or however you spell it) going around and slashing a poor unsuspecting goat's throat. Might not have appealed to the kiddies too much, however.

i saw it in the oregonian this morning and was super excited. I agree that it wasn't written the right way. Nevertheless, i was still so excited to see it. Oregon needs some b'way exposure!

P.S. Elphaba, i hope she roots for the ducks too!

I grew up listening to Les Miserables and Phantom... but i actually saw my first broadway show this summer! I went to NY and saw Wicked, Hairspray, and Aida. It was one of the most amazing experiences. I had seen many other shows on tour, but this was the first actually ON broadway.

I really enjoyed it! I love the cheno! She has such an amazing voice and great comic timing. I actually was just flipping through last night when I saw it on. I'm glad that I did!
