I haven't seen Kiril or Trent performing, I only saw David a few weeks ago. I've though seen the video clips on youtube and indeed Kiril has a very soft voice. David and Trent have strong voices, which go more with the character.
I can also understand why so many people are praising David's acting and dancing skills with so much passion. It should be true that each of these boys bring something special to the character, but there's something unique about David that has impressed profess

David Alvarez performed for the major press, including the NY Times, and he received outstanding reviews. Unlike Trent, he's already a nationwide reviewed actor. I'm sure that the directors, producers, and choreographers of Billy chose Alvarez for the press reviews to secure the Tony nomination because he should be the best actor at playing Billy. As for Billy, I totally agree with PiraguaGuy2, either David Alvarez gets the nomination (and eventually the Tony), or each of the three Billys must compete separately since the nomination is for a performance, not for a charater. This is the discussion that's basically going on at he moment in the league.
