Would Picture Show from Bonnie and Clyde or Right Hand Man from Something Rotten be bad choices? I think Right Hand Man brings out a lot of the deep tones in my voice, like Buddie Beware(I'm an alto), but I'm on the fence about singing a song from a new musical. Picture Show however, sounds pretty good with my voice, and in the song, Bonnie wants the finer things like Erma. The only problem is I think it might be a little young. Like I said, its a highschool camp.

I should probably also mention that the show is with a youth theatre company, so anything that is...well, you get the point. Anything Goes obviously is a tad riskay for a youth theatre company, but it's a highschool summer camp.

I'm auditioning for Erma in Anything Goes and needed some audition song suggestions. I was thinking maybe Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie? ????

The writer, I'm completely blanking on his name, but in an article I read about the musical, said that its about SpongeBob saving the world from destruction. I get that part of it, but what I don't get is why the writer can't write his own music. Instead, is using popular music from many artists. I have two auditions coming up with my theatre company, for Les Miserables and Anything Goes. Im wanting the role of Eponine in Les Miz, so I was thinking about singing Burn from Hamilton. For Anything Goes, I would like either Erma or Reno. Would There Are Worse Things I Could Do be appropriate? Thanks!
