Cafe Edison Replacement?

Cafe Edison Replacement?

I just moved to New York and one of the legendary spots I was looking forward to seeing was the Cafe Edison. I was sad to see that it has been closed for a while now! So, my question for you folks is- is there anything along the lines of Cafe Edison that I should check out?
