I posted my "meh" feelings before as well. Don't get me wrong I would give it a "B" or a "B-" but not feeling all the ultra-love either. The production is very well put together with solid performers, but the musical itself I found very old-fashioned and predicable in a bad way. The songs were not memorable at all to me. I only see about 2 shows a year and never posted here, but longtime reader. I saw this last weekend and was kind of disappointed. Not being familiar with the show at all before (yes my Broadway background is nil), I had read the posts here and thought I was going to see a "perfect" musical, but found it merely ok - I think I maybe had my expectations too high.
