I saw the Sunday evening performance of Come From Away at Ford's Theatre and just loved it. I was originally very skeptical of "the 9/11 musical" but spent the full 1 hour 45 minute performance glued to my seat, fully engrossed in the story, laughing a TON, and truly enjoying the music. After losing a few times I took advantage of that discount code they send along with the losing emails. I still think my ticket was a bargain because even though I was way up high in the balcony, I had a great time and loved the show.

Yup. This was pretty much my experience of seeing the Bright Star tryout at the Kennedy Center. During intermission, you can sketch out the entire story arc in to come in Act 2. I had kind of hoped there would be a fix by the Broadway opening. I want to give them credit for writing a b

New Ticketmaster policies are in place for this new batch of tickets. There is no resale available for them. So you won't be seeing them reposted - all of those already available for resale were purchased with the earlier ticket blocks.
I ended up calling Ticketmaster when I couldn't do a transfer with my new tickets so I could send the purchase to friends. Got the whole scoop on how this is all new policy for this one show. Interesting, at any rate.

Thrilling! I saw the news on Twitter and picked up a pair in the orchestra ($199 each) for a Saturday matinee. I thought this whole several-month block had sold out during the last big announced sale. I'm spending too much time theorizing on whether these were tickets that were held back from the initial sale. Seems fascinating that so many tickets just magically appeared! (I'm not complaining, just wondering)
