I put in three possible dates for the Something Rotten lottery... has anyone had any luck? I know it's not selling well. I won twice within the last two days to see An American In Paris, and had no success with the Aladdin lottery. Should I be ok? I've been wanting to see the show for a while now!

I entered the lottery over Thanksgiving last year and didn't have any luck, however in my "losing" email I was given the opportunity to purchase $49 loser seats (at box office or on TM). I bought them from the box office and got a great seat mid mezz. Good luck!
This is the one digital lottery my friends and I can never win for some reason despite having pretty good luck.

I have entered this lottery more times than any other and have NEVER won. I feel like it's impossible and I don't get why it's so difficult!

After losing a few times I took advantage of that discount code they send along with the losing emails. I still think my ticket was a bargain because even though I was way up high in the balcony, I had a great time and loved the show.

I've entered the digital lottery for this show three times now and each time I lost, but received a discount code to use for that night of the show if I wanted to still see the show. Oddly enough the third time I entered the lottery was my first time entering any other lotteries and those were The Crucible and The Book of Mormon. I won and decided to go to The Book of Mormon. I had a blast and got a great seat.

Can somebody provide more information on seating locations? Their site says includes first row but also mentions partial view and boxes.
What is the likelihood I will get front row?
I won the lottery and got front row. I also won the lottery when it was held outside the theater on the first anniversary. My name was one of the last ones to be called and I got box. Maybe it goes by first come first serve for the front row. My view from the box was terrible.

I won before and was front row, but I moved back to an open seat during act 2 because the stage is way high and I had been watching feet for all of act 1. Maybe if you're tall front row would be good but I'm 5'10" and I couldn't see much.
I won the digital lotto back in July. Our seats were towards the back, right side orchestra. I was very glad we didn't get the front row!

You are actually MUCH better off entering, losing and taking the 49 dollar consultation prize offer. I won the lottery and was in the very front row. Very close to the action but you miss the magic of all the dance- especially the tap numbers. You only see knees up. The 49 dollar offer they send when you lose are generally in the center of the mezz and are PERFECT for that show. After seeing it from the front, I went back the next day to see the show from the mezz and enjoyed it much more.

I've won 4 times. Got seats front row house right, front row house left, back orchestra house left, and right box. Front row seats are tough, especially if you're short. Our boxes weren't too bad. Back orchestra was definitely the best though.

The first time I entered, I won the lottery on 1/24 for the Saturday matinee. In March I entered everyday and didn't win. I've also rushed for this show, and to my knowledge, the lottery and rush seats are normally the same seats: front row or box. So you possibly have a chance at winning, but if you can, I'd recommend rush, because you would be getting the same deal. Personally, I didn't mind the view from the front row because you are so close to the actors and the action.

I tried the lottery some 50 times and never won. I rushed once and got a 2nd row mezzanine seat. Over to the left side but perfect view.
Won it the first time out of the box Got 2 nd row orchestra to the side.
Is this a hard show to rush? What's the likelihood of me getting one rush ticket to the show tonight around 5pm? Do they have SRO when the rush tickets are gone? Thanks!

Has anyone won the digital lottery lately? I just won but can't figure out how to pay for the ticket. They send you a code in the email but when I put it in it keeps coming up as a regular price ticket. I emailed the help contact but haven't heard anything back yet. Any advice?
I won last week. at ticketmaster site you put your code in Offer Code box then click check mark right next to it. then it shows which seats are for lotto winners. usually front row, side orchestra, side front mezz and all back mezz. i got 2nd row side mezz on aisle last time. just remember if you are buying only 1 ticket, they wouldn't let you buy certain seats.

When I won the digital lottery about 2 weeks ago, I sat in row C in the center of the balcony. It was actually a pretty great seat! The only seats that I could choose from were in the balcony, and I only bought 1 ticket.
And yes, you have the enter the offer code into Ticketmaster to get access to the lottery tickets.

Thanks everyone! Finally got it to work after 2 hours. Apparently you can't do it from your cell phone which was one of my problems. In the front row now waiting for the show to start, so excited!
