I think we all agree that the house manager's response was completely inappropriate and hurtful, and should be investigated by the organization, and appropriate action taken- whether it's a formal apology to Dawn, disciplinary action against the employee, and additional training on ADA compliance & sensitivity training for both volunteer and paid staff.
