The first preview was buzzing with energy from the stage and audience alike. The strongest points are the cast and the score, fantastic all around. The story is a bit broken up and some of the transitions between the "magic" and "reality" are a bit hazy (Street Singer, real? imaginary? Showing Brooklyn things? All in her head?). The story is woven into the score and we are given bits through-out the show, but its almost too many "bits" and not 3 or 4 solid story expositions. My buddy promptly...
