I used to take classes with Matt Riopelle and am friends with him. And yes, he does have a tendency to stretch the truth (so to speak) so please take what I am saying as a grain of salt. But, he told me earlier this year that they had already done one reading and a workshop production of RANCHO with Donna McKechnie. So, this would basically make it the 2nd reading. But, like I said, that that with a grain of salt.

Matthew Riopelle is also Michael's Rupert's boyfriend. I talked to him last week after he got back from spending a very romantic weekend with Michael in Florida. He told me they are currently doing the finishing touches on STREETS OF AMERICA for it's San Francisco run and also prepping another musical for off-Broadway titled RANCHO CUCAMONGA. As for Sebastian, he sings on the demo for STREETS OF AMERICA and is amazing! I personally can't wait to see him in the show!

I wish I were going to get down to Miami to see it. Have no clue what it's about but I'm friends with Michael’s boyfriend and writing partner, Matthew. Not only have they been together 5 years and counting, but Matt says their relationship is as solid as ever and still very much in love…so take that President Bush! But, Matthew says their new musical STREETS OF AMERICA, which recently had it's 2nd NYC reading, is going to be playing in San Francisco this spring and then coming to Broadway
