Charles Strouse's REAL MEN in Miami

Is anyone in Miami going to go and see Charles Strouse's new musical REAL MEN playing at the Coconut Grove Playhouse starring Michael Rupert? Anybody know what is it about?

I wish I were going to get down to Miami to see it. Have no clue what it's about but I'm friends with Michael’s boyfriend and writing partner, Matthew. Not only have they been together 5 years and counting, but Matt says their relationship is as solid as ever and still very much in love…so take that President Bush! But, Matthew says their new musical STREETS OF AMERICA, which recently had it's 2nd NYC reading, is going to be playing in San Francisco this spring and then coming to Broadway in the late summer/early fall. Plus they are planning to open their other musical RANCHO CUCAMONGA on Off-Broadway this fall as well. Two shows playing at the same time! Then, they are going to write a musical about pre-revolution Havana. So, they both are extremely busy. But It’s nice to see that there are couples, like Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, in the theatre world that can both love and work together! Congrats to them both! Updated On: 12/30/04 at 09:42 PM

Wow, thanks for all the info. Looking forward to hearing more about them. I still love 3 GUYS NAKED FROM THE WAIST DOWN! He is not only a very talented actor, but is a great composer as well! I actually see Michael and his boyfriend a lot in a Starbucks where I live in the village. They do look very much in love. I always want to go up and say "Hi", but I think I would gush way too much!
