Has anyone seen this? I keep seeing it pop up on TodayTix and it looks like fun but wanted to hear if anyone on the board has seen before bringing some friends in town this weekend. They love comedy and improv, so it seems up their alley but was curious about the musical theater elements.Thanks!

Waitress - saw both and can't recommend Waitress enough over School of Rock! Jessie Mueller's performance is not to be missed.

Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at Nuyorican Poets Cafe!
Anyone else see Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at Nuyoricanthis month? Caught it last week and thought it was perfectly acted and directed (by Michelle Tattenbaum of Nobody Loves You) and the intimate space was the perfect venue for the piece! I've always been a fan of John Patrick Shanley's work but this was the first time I got to see this show live. I believe they have a few performances left this week and one tonight- do yourself a favor and check it out!
Lynne Winterstellar
I also saw her in Mother Jones and the Children's Crusade at NYMF and she gave one of the best performances I've seen in years. Her voice and ability to put over a song are incomparable. I know they're still working on Mother Jones, so hopefully we'll get to see her on a NY stage soon!

I saw Mother Jones today as well and was blown away. There isn't a single weak link in the cast and the music was stunning. Lynne Wintersteller is giving a performance not to be believed. Hoping to go back one more time to one of their extension performances later this week!
