Honeymoon in Vegas - Previews
Saw this last night and wanted to add something no one has touched on in this thread: the misogyny. First we got the lyric "Mama's in the ground" in the opening song, sung joyously. Weird, I thought: the lead is expressing glee that his mother is buried in the dirt, while he's singing, presumably, a love song about another woman. Next came the actual mother, a shrewish harridan issuing a malevolent curse. Okay. I was still with the show. Then came Betsy, whose sole quest and personality trait...
