Micky Dolenz and The Wiz!

I just saw a clip of Micky singing EEZ on down the road at The Rockers on Broadway event. He was so cute.

I read somewhere about a revival of The Wiz. If they decided to do The Wiz again and Micky ended up playing the tin man. That just suits him the tin woods man in the wiz is a show man from an amuzement park. yeah i know a black cast, but these days you never know. people have th er own v isions for theatre.

Micky did mention a musical he is up for. Naw couldnt be this?
Though I wonder why c hose to do that song. wait a minute, its motown theme. eek! i'm embarrassed.

well it was just a thought anyway.

Not only a good tin man in the wiz i als othin khe would make an exelltn mad hatter in a produc tion of alice in wonderland. Course he seems to fit in to the kin /father figure in theatre lately. So what musucal c haracter do you all think he would be good in?

I saw him as Charles in Pippin last year, and he was phenominal! If there was ever to be a Pippin revival on Broadway, he could play it perfectly!

Yes Gravity Micky was an excelltnt King Charlimaign. I have clips up the king on a dvd someplace when Micky appeared on a kitchen show.

Thank you Phylis not sure how spellings od soem these thangs go. You didnt say what you thought he wqould be good in? Did you have a role?
