Wrote this up for someone once. Thank god they save your old PMs here.
*Spoilers* (in case you don't want to know everything)
Jon is dreading turning 30, because everyone else seems to be growing up (30/90 and Johnny Can't Decide). He's still working at a diner while he's writing music in his spare time and he hates it (Sunday). Michael is moving out of the crappy SoHo apartment he and Jon share to a nice place on the Upper East Side, since he's become really successful in the advertising business (No More).
Susan his girlfriend is a dance teacher, but she wants the two of them to move to the suburbs so they can settle down. Jon doesn't want to, so they're having relationship problems (Therapy). The whole time, Jon's working on his musical Superbia, and while he's having issues with Susan, he's crushing on the lead (she's the one singing Come To Your Senses).
Jon tells Michael that he wants to quit trying to write musicals because he isn't making any money doing it and he's not being successful, but Michael tells him he can't because Jon is supposed to be writing music. Then Michael tells him that he is sick and Jon sings Why reminscing their friendship.
He ends up finishing his show and the performance goes well, and his family and friends all like it. Stephan Sondheim calls him and tells him that he likes it as well. Louder Than Words is the finale and at the end is his birthday party.
