Posted: 4/9/06 at 3:20pmyou simply talk to the staff who have a table set up, you fill out a couple questions on a peice of paper and they ask about yourself ,if you've see nthe show ,etc. They jus twant people who will be real and honest and not upstage the actual actors. I think I was too dramatic whe nI saw the show so I was not picked =*(

Posted: 4/9/06 at 3:26pmNo age limit. They usually pick a kid and an older adult to get a variety. It's simple, all the people so is go up and try to spell a word, and they are eliminated until only the real actors are left. As you exit, you are given a box of apple juice =)

Get tot he lobby early and find someone with a clipboard and tell them that you want to sign up to be an audience participant. They'll give you a sheet and you to some table and stand online to be asked a bunch of questions. And then ten min. before the show they announce the four p[eople that they've chosen. You'll have a better chance of being picked if your with a large group of people, wearing a crazy outfit, have no acting experiance what-so-ever(just tell them you were a sheep in an x-mas pagent),or have some intresting last name. Tell them your a great speller, and you've never seen the show before. I've tried to be an audience participant twice. It hasn't happened yet. They make fun of the audience members as they go up to spell so having something original about you makes it easier for the writers to make jokes about you. Oh yea, You also get a hug from the "comfort counselor" when you leave as well as a juice box. Wow I got a tad carried away there. I am in love with this show.
