Any suggestions? some I've thought of already are the obvious:

"everything in life is only for now"
etc...

Don't do No Day but Today because EVERYONE does it, and plus its so cliche. Usually when people at my school do a senior quote, they try and make it funny. You should do something from DRS. Just a suggestion. Good luck with it!

I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game

Here I go and there's no turning back, my great adventure has begun. I may be small, but I've got giant plans to shine as brightly as the sun. . . . Be anything but quiet . . etc

I have a heart like the sea, a million dreams are in me

I used one from Avenue Q. Not the show I would have preferred to quote from, but it has many good quotables. I started a thread like this back in october on the students board

I always liked "To love another person is to see the face of God" from Les Mis.

Ha, Attend the Tale of Sweeny Todd, that's great.

How about, "Art is lighting soft as candle light." or "Life is pandemonium." or "The rain in Spain falls gently on the pane."

"Look at where you are, not at where you'll be..."

"Stop worrying if your vision is true, let others make that decision - they usually do..."

Or for my favorite, look up the lyrics to Billy Joel's "I've Loved These Days."

The more poignant, the better....

That DRS quote is kind of "Oh well. Move on."

Really, I think this is the best possible quote for the situation. It's wonderful:

"So, before we end, and then begin-
we'll drink a toast to how it's been.
A few more hours to be complete,
A few more nights on satin sheets,
A few more times that I can say
I've loved these days."

OH MY GOD munkustrap, I tried so hard to use that Billy Joel quote in my high school yearboo, because it's some of my favourite Billy Joel lyrics EVER but they only allowed us 50 characters (absurd, but I'll save y'all the rant). I ended up going with "Don't dream it... be it."

"It's not for sissies, contrary to popular belief." - Tommy Tune, on musical theatre.
