Howie Michael Smith in Ave Q

Howie is the understudy for Rod/Princeton and he played his first show at the Sunday matinee this week. Did anyone happen to catch him? I would love to hear how he was...

He was adorable!
He did a great job and he seemed like a genuinely nice guy after the show.
Will write more later.

speaking on behalf of andyf (because I saw this thread first!), andy did not see Howie Micheal Smith go on in Avenue Q.

Expect to see a very long and amusing rant from him later about that fact.

Ooh! ooh! I was there! He was AWESOME! I liked him a lot. Anyone know how old he is? He looked like he was about 18 (from my rear mezz seats) but when I saw him at the stage door, I barely even recognized him...ehr. That was my first Broadway show which was AWESOME.

JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

I can't wait to see him! I hope next time he has more notice so he can post the info on his site and let us fans know about it. It seems the producers of Ave Q know how to cast talent. John was awesome, I adore Barret, and it seems like Howie is amazing too. I can't wait for my chance to post about seeing him

Any photos of Howie? I'd like an idea of how he looks (not that it matters, but I can't get enough of the cute AveQ men!).

Ok..I'd love to see his site because he seems like a cutie but it keeps freezing up and shutting down my laptop. Is this happening to anyone else?

Augh, I feel stupid now. I didn't see him. I saw Christian Anderson. (I didn't see the word "matinee".) Christian Anderson was incredible-that's who I was talking about...haha

re: Howie Michael Smith in Ave Q

Why was Howie in? Was Barrett sick? (I have NOTHING against Howie, just wondering because I'm practically obsessed with Barrett)
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.
