I've never personally understood why women swoon over Mr. Cruise. I don't think he's drop dead gorgeous or that great of an actor. He's had a few fairly good roles, but let's face it, he's no Lord Olivier.

I saw that cover of EW as well. I was actually surprised by the hairy belly thing as well.

Oh my goodness. Did you people not read Pati's warnings in the "suing a message board" thread? This board is like a public newspaper. And you are NOT allowed to say things about the sexualitay of Mr. Tom Cruise, BG2. He will LITERALLY sue the pants off you. LITERALLY. As for Scientology being a so-called "cult," well, everybody knows it is a recognized Church started by a dead sci-fi writer and everything! And Tom hates psychiatry, it's his new thing. And actors who are Scientologists appear to never blink. And he was dyslexic but then Scientology got him clear. And then he went up the bridge. And he is probably an uber-Thetan now. Not that I ever read the copyrighted church "technology" or anything back when they were on the internet.

Tom Cruise is ugly, a bad actor (except for Magnolia), and needs to check his "I'm cool" attitude at the door. There's nothing less attractive than an actor whose personality is the action hero he so badly plays in movies.

He's cute, not sexy. Big difference. He did up the hot appeal from Mission Impossible 2 on, but I just always found him to be really bland with a nice smile. The EW cover frightened me when I pulled it out of the mailbox. Is that really the best pic they could have chosen, or are we just to marvel that he actually grows hair there?
And I guess it just shows that I don't lean towards the average American hottie when I'd much rather have Stiller than Cruise. "Tom Crooooze."

I just saw an interview with Brittany in which she said she was going to Iraq for a USO show and a friend of hers tied the bracelet on her wrist to keep the evil away. She doesn't actually practice herself.
