I love the Logos to KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN, TITANIC (both logos), PHANTOM, the London version of CHESS, MISS SAIGON, LES MIS, and CHICAGO.
I love the showcard designs for DRS, REEFER MADNESS (the off-bway show), the original LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, and PARADE.
When the post was started were we supposed to list the Logos we liked or the showcard design? The entire artwork is not always included with the logo.

The Mackintosh logos were all great (particularly MISS SAIGON) but he lost the plot somewhere around MARTIN GUERRE. Both logos for that show blew, and WITCHES OF EASTWICK went from tolerable to abhorent. MARY POPPINS has been through three of them, and they've all been subpar (though it's anyone's guess how much Disney had to do with those).
My vote goes for either SAIGON or the original FOLLIES.

Mary Poppins (original with the flowers) - just so elegant
Chicago - simple yet effectively seductive with the black and red

Hmm...it depends on what you mean by "best"...that's really subjective if it's strictly about design. Although there may be more beautiful logos out there, I think the ones for Les Miserables, CATS and Annie were all successful and memorable.
I love the original ASPECTS OF LOVE logo. So beautiful, and a very accurate reflection of the show, with the concept of blind love and all.
