I went in thinking that I wouldnt like it very much.

Bought tickets to go back the next day.

Now, I have the $40 book, the $25 Shirt, The $20 CD, Frankie Vali and The Four Seasons Greatest Hits Volume 1 and 2, and a :illegal: DVD.

I now listen to it on the way to and from school (40 mineutes) and Don't Worry 'Bout Me is playing right now.

You tell me if I liked it. :)

I've never quite gotten the bad rap this show has among some people. I can understand not liking it, but I don't think it compares that unfavorably to other musicals. A lot of musicals aren't exactly heavyweight material, even ones that aren't the jukebox type. A lot of popular music once came from musicals, so I'm not sure what's so different about already-popular music being used as musical material. I also think it's sort of a hybrid between a play with music (when they perform the big early hits, and most of the first act) and a traditional musical (using songs to comment on the action, as almost all the music in the second act is used).
