Alright folks. While I think that most of you participating have kept the discussion on fairly constructive (while admittedly argumentative) grounds, at this point, we are going to lock this one down for the night. 

While the topics discussed might have strayed from the original topic, we felt that they added value for the most part, and we deleted and trimmed things that violated our rules, and gave leeway when it appeared that posts were made in good faith. That is what a discussion board is for. 

However, as tempers are getting heated, and most of our moderators are stepping away from their machines for the night, we will lock the thread and take a look at unlocking in the morning.
