Already on StubHub, for the Broadway run there are 300-500 tickets per performance (around 23%-38% of the house) starting at roughly double the face value. Looks like the show could indeed be a very lucrative investment. Glad I could snag a pair of upper mezz for the regular price, but stupidly, I was just planning on seeing the show.

Ugh, that bugs me so much. SpareStub.com- fair priced tickets. <3

I had a feeling this was happening. The regular-priced seats adjacent to the premium sections in the orchestra have been picked clean.

I was just looking at tix today for the summer....at least this helps explain things.
I want to know why they can't figure out how to stop this.

There was a report for a while that the scalper rate for the run at the public was anywhere between $700 and $900.

it is worth remembering that what you see on stubhub is the offer to sell price, often inflated, not the offer to buy price.
