Slavery was never abolished in the United States. We just moved the slaves to where we could not see them.

It's not just in Malaysia. Slaves are building the World Cup stadiums in Qatar. Slaves in sweatshops still make our clothes, and slaves in the Far East make our computers and smart phones. We enjoy the toys made for us by the slaves of Apple and Microsoft.

We have never stopped being slave mongers. And now Obama winks at Malaysia, the modern-day Simon Legree.

And don't you think it's time we start electing politicians who will do something about this? Or do we just continue to shrug and say "that's the way it is" while we buy our iPhones?
