So apparently Gary Busey will do a two-week stint in Perfect Crime. I saw this piece of crap "play" a few years ago. The character he's playing has the biggest part with many lines to remember. How is this trainwreck going to work in that trainwreck?

When I read this my jaw nearly hit the floor. I will forever remember Mr. Busey as that fellow in the straitjacket who kept screaming at Inside Edition reporters...oh, how I miss Joel McHale on The Soup.

I just came across this and looked up tickets, thinking there's train wreck bad potential here...
Ticketmaster is listing seats at $123.50...
$123.50!

He's a lunatic Trump supporter and I hope he falls off the stage trying to remember the lines of this horrible excuse for a play.

There's a 0% chance he will give a single performance.

Wow, $123 for this piece of junk? I saw it for free and I still wanted my money back.

And how dare they hire this Trumpy groper? Sad!

He's going to carry more pages than Stephanie Umoh (and be much, much worse).

Oh my God, going on stage without knowing my lines IS MY NIGHTMARE. Also watching someone go on stage without knowing their lines is my nightmare. That said, I'd specifically love to see Gary Busey screw up. As much as I had a crush on him in The Buddy Holly Story, he is now a Trump-loving groper who makes me sick to my stomach.

The Los Angeles Times revealed in an interview with the actor that one condition of his contract was "that he be allowed to mold the part in his image."
A nice way of saying that he wasn't going to even bother trying to learn the part as written. Not that it really matters with this POS.

I'm shocked this even happened...
Never thought he would make it...

I've ended up in deep in an internet hole finding out about this hilarious sounding play. Did this bizarre cameo actually happen in the end?!

Looks like he did, according to this article. Lest we forget he was also in Only Human, which if I remember correctly, closed before opening (or very shortly after opening?)

Yes, it did happen. I didn't see it but there were reports that Busey broke character throughout and told audience members to "pay attention" because what he was saying was important.
