This concert is a Special Event of the 2018–19 season.
Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award–winning legend Patti LuPone returns to the New York Philharmonic to celebrate her 70th birthday, performing her favorite Broadway selections, including “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina” from Evita, “The Worst Pies in London” from Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and “I Am Easily Assimilated” from Candide.
Wish I could go--but I live in Atlanta, GA- and will not be able to make it- but I recently saw Patti in Company in London- and love her and wish I could be there in May- THURSDAY- the 16th- David Geffen Hall at 7:30

Realistically speaking, not many have a voice that lasts into their 70s. This may be the the last time I get to see her. I'm gonna be all tears.

I'm sure she'll live a good long time. But I think she may retire sooner than later.
I'll tell you one thing- after this ****ty week, I can sure use a night with Patti in concert, and seeing some Broadway shows. I needs to escape.

I think she will at least do concerts for a few more years. And there is always the possibility of "Company"
Great seats popped up last night for the NYPhil so grabbed them. I'm assuming this will be like the two other Spring Gala performances I have been to where it is 90 minutes no intermission.

I'm a hick from Los Angeles so I don't know- since it's a gala, do you have to dress up?

Looks like a few more seats have been released.
