My wife & I are fans of Michael Crawford (she & I met at "The Phantom of the Opera"). I was saddened to see that he would appear in another role so similiar to "Phantom." The man has tremendous talent, yet Michael, you to need to come out of the shadows into the light-- "no more talk of darkness" Michael.
I think Michael Crawford is extremely talented, but I just don't think Count Von Krolock was exactly his cup of tea. He just needs to seperate himself from "POTO" a little bit, and find another role to associate himself with. In terms of Count Von Krolock, I wish Steve Barton would have been around to play it on Broadway, maybe he would have helped to keep it true to the original German production having been in it himself. Steve Barton is amazing!
