I'm sorry I missed this now. I would have driven all that way just to hear that song live. If the rest of the score is like that song I think Marc and Scott will have another hit on their hands! Who's writing the book to the show?
WOW what a wonderful and AMAZING coup to be THE Broadway place on the net that let's the world hear, "50 Checks" I'm telling ya all, this song is a classic, hearing it live and knowing what the emotional connections it has to the characters in the show gave us all chills sitting there, and young Mr.S reminded our party of another Mr.S from NJ as he swinged and swayed and sang the song.
This is one that everybody is gonna be singing at auditions in the very near future! Not to mention weddings! It makes me wanna be back in Bound Brook!

It's a wonderful song from what is sure to be a wonderful show...
and having seen the man live, I think Mr. Shaiman might consider taking a page from Elaine Stritch and doing a one man show in the near future...and in New York City, no less..
He's got the stories, the song and the vocal chops...
Hey thar Shaiman, I'd like to invest too! I don't got much of yer American currency but If yer willin' to do the exchange, then I can have you knee deep in cat pelts and rat tails in no time. I may live in a a series of interconnected caves and abandoned railway tunnels and subsist on a diet of stray cats and gravel but I ain't no yokel. I knows a good song when I hears it.

I used to think you were a disgusting blemish, a pimple on the ass of society, one of God's most unfortunate mistakes, a constant reminder of all that's bad in the world...
but after meeting you and spending time underground (albiet brought there with the use of chloroform and rope) I know now the heart that beats somewhere beneath that grotesgue mound of fur and can look pass the hideous scars brought on by a lifetime of picking
but not wanting this thread to get banished to the Off-Topic Board, I close by saying, ain't Broadway grand, and yes, I will accept your investment in "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN"
Wonderful news on the response to "50 Checks", I know I'm a huge shill for the song, but it's worth every rave, I think maybe you should do an enhanced video and release it on dvd!
