Does the "currently on broadway" rule apply to revivals? Becuase my ballad was going to be Johanna form Sweeney Todd.

ughh...is wild party really THAT overdone? i'm doing life of the party as my uptempo and i really like it and belt it well...is this a huge "no-no" or do you guys think it will be ok?
