The Big Voice: God or Merman? is playing it's last weekend, with the final performance this Sunday August 26th.
It's been a treat having Jim Brochu and Steve Schalchlin (the origianl off-Broadway cast and writers/composers of the show) in San Francisco, and I wish they could extend the show further...but I guess they're moving it to another city.
It's a wonderful little show with HUGE heart, and lots of laughs.
There's also something very special about having Jim and Steve up there telling their own story. There's an honesty in the words and especially in Steve's singing that can't help but move you.
If you're in the bay area and haven't seen it, you might want to check out one of these last performances. It really is a gem.
