When I saw the show here in DC, I spoke to Lisa O'Hare (Eliza) at the stage door afterwards. I asked her if the show was going to Broadway; at that point in time -- mid-January -- she said they had not heard anything about Broadway. The present tour runs through June.
I talk to the director of the tour production after the last show in Washington D.C., and he was hopeful about the show coming to Broadway.
He did point out that show will need a large theater due to the size of the production, and none of those are currently available.
