Special Events? Off-Bway? Piano Bars?

Hello Broadway Gang!

Some friends and I arrive in NYC tomorrow for a very theatre-based holiday. Obv, we have a tonne of shows lined up to see, but I would super-appreciate your help on a slightly different topic.

Do you guys know of any concert happenings, or charity performances, or one-off special events or anything?

I cannot die without seeing the Broadway Boys perform, so does anyone know if they're doing anything in NYC this week or next? Same for Shoshana Bean, or any other amazing Broadway performers?

I always find I'm in the City for a trip, and then I come home and realise I've missed amazing events.

Basics, if anyone can think of anything going on this week, my friends and I would really appreciate knowing.

Also, does anyone have any tips for Off-Broadway treats? I have noted The Toxic Avenger, so might check that out. Any other lovely shows going on? I saw In The Heights Off-Bway, and really regret not seeing Bare. In addition, our little group all love a little sing-song. What are people's top tips for piano bars etc?

All help greatly appreciated. I can't wait!
