Well, they're not being currently recognized under the bigoted scumbag governor -- they're still legal in the eyes of the U.S. gov't though, aren't they?

Eric Holder just announced that the US gov will recognize same-sex marriages in Utah.

I think this has the earmark of a federal case that could possibly change the landscape once and for all. (For the better, IMO. This is NOT, I repeat, is NOT a states' rights issue-it's a federal one. This is about basic rights of citizenship, not religion, or any of that. This needs to change NOW.)

This is becoming quite interesting. Things are moving forward! I know it seems sloowly, but if you stop to think 45 years ago gays were arrested and jailed for standing facing away from the bar when in a bar, we have come a very long way!
