This is some of the tastiest food in NY! If you're downtown, try it. Yummy!

I LOVE cheap, hole-in-the-wall food in NYC...but those pictures look awful.!! ick!
What's the place you mentioned in another thread about the walk up window in the theatre district? It looked good but I dont remember the place. It was chicken and stuff..
Food that looks that bad can only taste great.
They don't HAVE to go to the trouble of making it look good becuase it's so delicious that it doesn't need to be aesthetically pleasing!
(...I dunno. I've never been there...)
hmm, I never thought of it that way! Thanks, Schmerg..I shall think twice before turning down food that looks sh***! lol..
LOL! Yes, sometimes food that looks gross is actually pretty good. I always go for a good ole hotdog with mustard and sauerkraut.
Oh my God I LOVE the same kind of dog! Are you watching The Bachelor? There is a girl on there who judges all her dates on what they put on their hot dog! She says she knows all about them by what toppings they put on...WTF???
Well, perhaps she meant it as a euphemism?
Schmerg, no she's talking about real hotdogs.
Clever, I think her name is Jillian. She's the Canadian one.
Nuts4Nuts. The best. Period.

You WOULD, Actr.
Anyway, forget street food. If you want quick, fantastic food, it's all about Pommes Frites on 2nd and 7th. It's a teeny little place, so it's ALMOST on the street!
Clever, Schmerg is right...sometimes food photos don't do it justice.
The name of the chicken place is "Piece of Chicken".
However, lately, I'm kinda disappointed, in that they are ridiculously oversalting most of the food (except the fried chicken, which is delish)). The collards and yams were practically inedible because of the salt content. And the mac n cheese isn't that great anymore. I wonder if they have a different chef?
Dein Herr, I agree - the potato place is amazing!
