As you may know, 13 the Jason Robert Brown musical is looking for a 2008 Broadway bow. Does anybody know when auditions are? If you do, please post because I would very much like to audition!

Keep an eye on JRB's website. He posted audition dates for the LA run, so I imagine he'd do the same if it played Broadway.

I've heard so many great things about this show. One of my friends knows a girl named Kristi who did a demo for the show. The music, from what I've heard on JRB's site is so good.


As for auditions, I'll be seeing you there. Haha.

And just as I thought theatre had no roles for 13 year old girls...

Are you certain that there will be auditions? Why wouldn't they just continue with the original cast?

What's pink and green and flies all over?

I think they're required by equity to hold auditions. Even if the auditions are just for future replacements.

Jason Robert Brown went to Stagedoor Manor today and saw kids for 13. He posted a list of callbacks tonight.

Yeah he spent a couple of days just watching rehearsals from what I hear.
But the auditions haven't happened yet.
From what I know, he's just asked kids to audition.

No they did callbacks for him. Apparently they're having another round of callbacks in the city. I'd be shocked if they didn't have more auditions in New York, though.
