I don't know Natalia Kills or Willy Moon but even though it was live I think the producers should have cut them off. At this point had nothing to do with the contestants singing.

It was pretty awful for that guy to wear a suit, since apparently that judge guy invented wearing them.

The poor contestant handled it well.

Both of them should have been. The whole Norman Bates comment from him was bizarre. I just watched both of them singing from videos they have posted on youtube. Didn't think it was worth the bother of posting them here.

That was bad but there's been much worse on this very message board by select paragons of virtue.

It's not just the horrible things she said, it's the fact that the poor guy was humiliated live on national TV for absolutely no reason. What an awful woman. She may have been simply trying to live up to the Simon Cowell cruel judge mold, but she way overstepped the mark and I'm glad she's been fired. She can now return to obscurity.

The judge apparently doesn't understand what's constructive criticism and what's just being mean. "You're disgusting, you make me sick"? Really?

And this was the first live show. Yes, the contestant wants to be a famous singer, but he's just an ordinary guy who didn't deserve that.

"What was the name of that cheese that I like?" "you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start" "well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"

I'm still confused over what distinctive style she's saying he's copying. The slicked back hair with volume and a suit and tie has been the style for male vocalists for the past few years once the crooner look came back to style. It was also unfortunate that Willy Moon made the Norman Bates like because if anyone there looked as creepy as Norman Bates, it wasn't the contestant...
