got any suggestions for 2 females, a really great audition scene?
Oh, I just 'The Stronger' by Augustus Strindberg. It's a 2 female scene. One person has all the lines but it's really good.
Wonderful one from "The Children's Hour" if you can play 20-25 well.
There's a scene from "Crimes from the Heart" that is quite good, too.
Best of Luck,
C.
"Jane Eyre", between Jane and Helen
"Pride and Prejudice" between Charlotte and Elizabeth and/or Elizabeth and Jane
"Summer Brave" between Madge and Millie
"Summer and Smoke" between Alma and Nell (I did this once and got a lot of compliments on it).
I also did one from Little Women between Jo and Beth that was gorgeous.

"Gwen & Gwen" by Nancy Keifer (I think)
"Sylvia" by A.R. Gurney
"The Beauty Queen of Leenane" by Martin McDonagh
"The Odd Couple (female version)" by Neil Simon
"Agnes of God" - John Pielmeier
"Five Women Wearing the Same Dress" - Alan Ball
"Crimes of the Heart" by Beth Henley

There is a really cool book that might be helpful for you. It's called The Ultimate Scene and Monologue book by Ed Hooks. It doesn't have the scenes printed directly in the book, rather it serves as a directory. It has a section on scenes for 2-females and what it does is gives a synopsis of the play, and the ages of the characters. It also tells you who published the play and all that. It also has monologues and three person scenes. I HIGHLY recomend for any theatre student.
